Ok I did it here are some before and after pics. This was so scary for me kinda dumb I know. She looks great with her hair down though.

When DD took Jess's hair down it was a scary moment for me, too. I eventually put it back in braids. I put Marisol's back in her original style too. Don't know why I am that way.

I totally understand about it being scary! [img]eek.gif[/img] It took me several months to take my Jess' hair down. I still think I prefer it in the braids, as my Jess just doesn't have much wave to her hair. The good news is that I've found out that it's not that hard to put them back in.

I'm contemplating getting another Jess to take her hair down. I know it will be easy to divid for the two pigtails, but braiding, I'm afraid it will never look the same.

I've had Molly for almost 18 years now and she still has her original braids.

Doll hair is not like people hair, it doesn't grow back and parting it is not so easy.

I've seen Kailey's with the hair rebraided - not too good.

Jess does look lovely with her hair down.

She looks beautiful! Jess has the most beautiful wavey, full of body, reddish black/brown hair, it just falls in gorgeous wavy curls.My Jess's hair is down all the time now.

I too, was hesitant to take it down at first, but when I saw someone's picture on here; I did it. I have not regretted it since! HA!

My Jess has VERY wavy hair that looks best down. I think that is the best way to have Jess's hair.
